Wonderful! I read The Politics of Jesus: Rediscovering the True Revolutionary Nature of Jesus' Teachings and How They Have Been Corrupted last summer, so I was wishing someone would do this the entire time I was reading Taking On the System. You ought to consider writing an entire book on this.

Markos,
Thanks -- I'm a big fan of your work -- it caused me to take a whole new look at how social change occurs -- both past and present -- peace, Ryan

What a fascinating concept. A key tenet of the book is that tactics for effective social change need to adopt to conforming media trends and social norms. I hate when people are stuck using outdated tactics in a constantly changing world. So while i was obsessing about the future, I never considered applying the rules to previous societies. This is really cool, and I look forward to further installments. Thanks!
